Jellyfish Sighting

We need your help!

At present our understanding of where and when jellyfish occur in the IrishSea remains limited. Yet to fully understand how jellyfish impact on fisheries and tourism it is important that we gather as much information about jellyfish as possible.

And that's where you can help... any sighting of a jellyfish, whether it is stranded on a beach, or whether you saw one while you were diving or from your boat, is hugely important to this project.

To report a sighting/stranding of a jellyfish click here.
